Some Nice and famous stories about IITains

Just Its like the things are very interesting to share about them

http://www.amazon.in/Diwali-Dhamaka/b?ie=UTF8&node=3419926031

First person :

Yes, it is the story of an intelligent boy who cheats himself by spending two years* of his precious youth living like a hermit preparing for the IIT-JEE, only to study something he doesn't really want to for another four long years, and then only to work on something he doesn't really like for the rest of his life.

* I hear the typical grind is getting longer now.

Second Person :

In JEE 2010, there was a question in mathematics asking for the Inradius of the circle. It was a trigonometry based question and last few minutes were remaining. I tried something but didn't crack it so I  took the mathematical instruments out and drew the triangle, circle etc and measured its radius!...Got 3 full marks :)
P.S. : There was nowhere written  on the question paper that mathematical instruments are not allowed but then our Prof. told me later that it is not allowed.
Anyways, 3 marks and CSE it is ;) !

Third Person :

OK, so here's my story.

History
I had a school friend who failed in 3 out of 6 subjects in any exam no matter if it's unit test, mid term or end term. plus he was good at nothing (no sports, no dancing etc. of those colour full stuffs). Now he had name such that hi roll no. mostly came some where near me in exams(after one two loops, like if my name starts with T his with W (T+2)). He was really good at copying and whenever he came besides me he would pass otherwise fail. Now in IIT JEE there was ZERO probability that he would come besides me since we didn't fill forms at same time(as mentioned in one of the comments ) and no such other planning.

Apple planning Mac upgrade alongside ipad refresh

Apple and Facebook have upped the ante in their battle for the best talent by offering to pay for female employees to freeze their eggs.
Facebook has started offering female staff up to $20,000 (£12, 570) for so-called ocyte-cryopreservation, so that they can delay having children until later in their careers. The process typically costs between $10,000 and $15,000, plus an additional $1,000-a-year to keep the harvested eggs on ice.
The social network is also offering help to men who want to become parents. All staff will be entitled to help with adopting, and a “host of other fertility services”, the company said.
Meanwhile, Apple has said it plans to start paying for egg freezing from January.
Both companies hope that the move will help them to attract more female staff, and retain them for longer by reducing the pressure on them to have children before a particular age.
